Third International Science Prize „“Impacts of Wars and Global Environmental Change and Climate Change on Food Insecurity, Hunger and Migration“

The HGBS awards the international science prize annually to a scholar (or up to three scholars) of any country who has (have) made innovative scientific contributions on the theme of the annual call. Applicants who have obtained already a PhD are invited to submit their application until 31 May 2025 and to add an electronic version in pdf of their work (book/manuscript):

  • A printed version of the published text with the name, book title and ISBN that was published since January 2020;
  • A CV of the author with the author’s professional affiliation, list of publiccations, postal and Email address, the author’s phone number and identity (ORCID and copy of passport page);
  • A signed letter that the applicant has authored the submitted text.

The HGBS offers three alternatives for awarding the third HGBS international science prize (ISP 2025):

  • Direct application of a scientist from any country of the globe;
  • Nominations by professors and heads of research institutes globally;
  • Nominations by scientific publishers based on research of the peer-reviewed literature.
  • The members of the global jury will shortlist the submissions. Only those authors that were selected should submit a printed copy of their book.

The deadline for the submissions of an application/nomination is 31 May 2025. Please send it to: hg.brauch@onlinehome.de.
